Jacinda Ardern, Prime Minister of New Zealand, at Sciences Po

On April 16th, 2018, Jacinda Ardern, the Prime Minister of New Zealand spoke at Sciences Po. She explained that her primary motivation for being involved in politics has always been the well-being of people.
Prime Minister Jacinda Arden went on to explain that she believes the well-being of people is strongly linked with their environment and the protection of it.

Prime Minister Jacinda Arden says that it is essential to protect and preserve the environment for future generations and she is motivated by this cause through her role in politics. She says that this is particularly important for indigenous New Zealanders, as they have been requesting this type of approach for a long time.

Prime Minister Jacinda Arden says that the drive of political change has come from a number of different organisations such as students. In recent years, a large number of people have been making their voices heard and demanding that changes are made.

Prime Minister Jacinda Arden says that her call to action is a response to these people in the hope that they will continue to apply pressure on world leaders so that they do not forget about this issue, and so major change comes about.
