This song is probably my favorite in this album, I love the way the music sounds like a happy video game, but the lyrics are really dark. The song made me feel things, and I feel really bad for Vanessa in this music video. The animation is also cute. The harmonies at the last chorus were a nice touch.

Something I like abt this is how the lyrics throw you for a loop on which side of Vanessa is which - first it opens with the purple text for "strange", which at first glance seems like an obvious difference, especially when followed up with "thinking of all the ways to make you disappear" - but then it swaps to saying "help me" during the first chorus, while Vanny is shown taking over. It's a neat twist on what might otherwise be a clear differential between where Vanessa ends and Vanny begins.

As for the subject, I like how it was done. Vanessa could have been a good character, and luckily, fanfiction has me covered. Her therapy tapes made me feel *something* because of how depressed and tired she sounded.

Honestly this song kinda feels relatable, but only because i also kinda need a therapy and anxiety is awful at times. I also really like the animation, both 3d and 2nd like, really amazing.
