Chris Martin of Coldplay and Michael J. Fox perform Johnny B. Goode LIVE!

The Foundation's gala benefit, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's, took place on Saturday, November 9 at the Waldorf Astoria New York, raising $5.5 million for Parkinson's research. A sold-out crowd of over 1,100 guests gathered to watch the star-studded event hosted by Denis Leary. One of the night's biggest moments came when special musical guest Chris Martin of Coldplay took the stage to sing "Johnny B. Goode" with Michael J. Fox on guitar.

what a man.he knows he cant play great now, he knows alot of young ppl there dont really know him, he knows ppl on here will say how bad it was etc..BUT he still did it because life is to short and he's just enjoying him self.he's raised $300m+ for research for his condition and everyone who has it. a true human and alot of ppl should look up to ppl like MJ Fox and not ur stupid celebs you find today. fantastic guy!

this is by far the most impressive example of belief and ability. A man who is 50 odd years old playing almost perfectly the song that most people doubted he could play in his time as a young actor. Hats off to MJ Fox. What a STAR
