I have a son with allergies. We avoid traveling with foodie freinds, because all the events are around food. Instead we focus on activities. As a foodie myself it's hard to go to another country and not indulge in the food culture but for him, he gets experiences of the cultures in other ways. So it's worth it. We watch you all the time, you are so strong ❤ and inspiring

The travelling is doing you a world of good. I felt that way when I visited Japan. I have severe allergies to nuts (esp. peanuts) and crustaceans. I took an allergy card with me which explained that, but honestly still had a lot of anxiety around eating food. Just hard to trust whether people really understand the severity of things, so I mostly ate convenience store food before/after my partner and brother had a restaurant meal. By the end of the trip I was feeling quite left out tbh

When I was in indonesia I also couldnt eat anything in the street market so I set and watched all the others eat😂 You are not alone girl🫶🏻 We can still enjoy 💗💗
