I met my One Who Got Away while I was with my husband. We stayed friends, but drifted due to time. After 7 years we reconnected. She encouraged me to get out of my abusive marriage. And now she and I are happily married. I'm so thankful I found her again, and I hope that these two can be happy as well.

I don’t like how this video said that his short stint with Ana de armas “helped” him clean up his act just for JLO and affleck to get back together. Women shouldn’t be seen as something to be used to benefit/rehabilitate a man.

My great uncle got re-married to his first wife when they were both 90 years old and it was an absolute beautiful wedding and the best reminder that it's never too late to be with the right person. They got married at 19 and divorced before they were 30 and went on the have other marriages. My grandfather did the same after his divorce to my grandmother, he got back together with his high school sweetheart and they were so happy!

ive never been huge into celeb couples but this is a dope story that would be awesome to see workout for them rather than the expected end like most celeb couples

YES, "The One That Got Away" really didn't get away!!! And that is awesome because this doesn't always easily happen! It makes me happy just seeing them back together ❤

girllls and guys -second chances are alright, ok? But don't you think about going back to your toxic abusive ex-partners. That is not the same!!! ;)

I relate to this pretty hard- my boyfriend and I were broken up for years and we had completely separate lives until we reconnected and tried again, now it’s better than it ever was the first time. I think the most intrinsic thing about being able to try again with someone is being able to live separate from them and to mature on your own. Thats the only way its going to be able to work out

Ben and Jennifer are the embodiment of “right person, wrong time”.

Second comment: JLo has never ever been single, she has gone from relationship to another without a break. She needs space to process and reflect.

If I were a cynical person, I'd say this relationship is a weird, real-life nostalgia bait. Nostalgia is fuelling so much in film and tv at the moment, resulting in lazy writing and unoriginal ideas (HIMYF; And Just Like That; Jurassic World; etc). How ironic would it be if Affleck and Lopez's relationship is due to their own nostalgia for the time they were together 20 years ago? I thought film and tv were supposed to hold a mirror up to life, not the other way around!

Affleck wasn't trapped in his marriage. He was trapped in himself and put his own failure on his marriage. Classic.

Im so invested in this relationship...and im not that type of person...Im cheering them on so much, I want them to be happy, and give us all hope for a good love as well...Jen is amazing and Ben deserves to be happy, after all the things he went through.

I hate this dude so bad after he blame his alcoholism on Jennifer G, when she did try to help him cope with it. Now, suddenly, he is this fantastic man. Please, no.

I like that they have always been complimentary of each other's work and work ethic. I like that they always recognise the deep aspects of their life rather than the shallow images. Very respectful.

I missed Issa and Lawrence from HBO's Insecure. They too are a second chance couple, practically the entire show plays on the 'will they won't they get back together' narrative.
Also, I would have loved to see more diversity on the other couples used to exemplify this trope, 'cause to me they all seemed straight and light skinned ...
Apart from these notes, I really do love this channel and almost never miss a take! Please keep up the amazing work you guys do.
Cheers

I highly agree with second chances. My dad broke up with my mom and then months later won her back by proposing to her and the rest is history. Serendipity is a good movie about time and the one that got away.

I can’t wait for the sequel: Third Chances at Love. And the follow up: Fourth Chances at Love.
