Why shoot with Kodak Portra 160?

Back at it again with my second episode!

This time I'm doing a daytime beach shoot with my friend Rosie, and putting some Kodak Portra 160 film to the test.

No need for a direct comparison, as the colours are the same, but more an insight into the uses of a 160 ASA film in bright sunlight.

Music by Cody Stebbings and Down For Tomorrow.

I can't tell you how ~*refreshing*~ it is to discover a photography youtube that isn't soundtracked by "chill-hop"

Dude, I LOVE the music you used for this video! I know it’s been four years, and in those four years people seem to have been stuck in that lo fi rut. I can’t put into words how refreshing this felt. And btw I really like how you shot in harsh light the entire time and made it work. Everybody just hatin’ on it, you just takin’ dope photos with it. :D

Great video showing the capabilities of Portra 160! Really liked how spot-on the color range of this film is is for skin-tones. I'm getting back into film photography after more than a decade of strictly digital photography, and after watching this, I'll definitely be buying some Porta to work with!
