"BEN is getting lonely"
"You watched me drown!"
You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?"
"You shouldn't have done that."

It sounds a little uneasy at first, but...it kinda eases you in. Almost sounds...peaceful. Once you know what to expect from the melody, it's...relaxing. Which, once you realize is often how a demon would distract its prey while it prevents all escape, makes this song scary as fuck.

In full honesty, this song makes me feel happier. The Song of Healing is already really somber, and its more about accepting your pain rather than fighting it. The way this song loops backwards, its almost like going back in time, going to a place where you can correct your mistakes. Maybe that's why it's more soothing. I know this is a videogame but damn if it's not a piece of art.

A lot of people say this song is peaceful and relaxing for them, and I can definitely see that being the case for a lot of people, but for me I find it both unnerving and anxiety-inducing. It both calms me and fills me with a sense of dread. Just like in the game there is only one phrase that truly describes how this song can make one feel: “You’ve met with a terrible fate, haven’t you?” That line sums up how the song can affect you, or at the very least how it affected me.

this is actually more sad and depressing then creepy to me. when i really think about it, it changes the way i think about the bits of the creepypasta that i can barely remember. the quotes "you shouldn't have done that" and "you've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" also feel just sad to me. of course, i can't remember the context, which, probably changes alot, but, it's still sad to me. somehow heartfelt almost. like- i literally feel a bit of sadness or something in my chest when i listen to this. it's just sad.
