I love your observations and advice. You always offer interesting information and express it in a way that is somehow more persuasive than other channels. Thank you Brando.

Hello Brandon,
Recently, I started not to tide the grip like you explained and now I started to have breaks of 18 to 20, which I couldn't do before,
I was not aware that it was my main problem !
Now potting balls are much easier 👍
Thank you, Brandon, for your teaching ❤️
You are the best 👌 👍

You are a great teacher man. Really appreciated. I believe you will help me to make my first century. Right now I am standing with 90 break with 12 reds. 😊😊

dont know why but as soon as i get down the butt of the cue is always offline towards left side.
i bridge down my body towards the cue and the grip, but some how when i get down my butt of the cue is always always offline
how to hold the grip hand on line of aim while standing and until down?

I'm sorry, but that first screwback to the blue, nothing wrong with that at all imo, looked fine, looked smooth, perfect result.

I mean it looks pretty obvious to me that when you get the ball to the place you want it to be, then there's nothing wrong with your cue action.

Grip should not be too tight, but should tighten up a bit when you deliver the cue.

For me, it's all about doing EXACTLY (gripwise) the same thing on every single different shot.
That's where my problems start.😊

Edit: from a physics standpoint, grip shouldn't matter, it's all about a fluent acceleration of the cue in a straight through the centerline of the cueball, tight grip or loose grip.

*when i am down on the shot i normally cue with center chin, but when i do the dominant eye test, and holding a pen towards an object bring toward my face, that pen hits my right chin. should i trust my normal chin position or the pen test result? thank you very much*

You don't drop the elbow in tight grip..but you drop the elbow in 2nd shot which loose gripped

Anyone tried booking some coaching? I have tried a couple of times on the website with no joy. Might be because I am in NZ, but I can’t see a reason why.

Hi Brando, thanks for sharing the tip to stay down at the end of the shot and check your grip. Comparison with a bird in hand ❤
I think the person who has some good experience with snooker and knows the basics can understand and apply this method to pot more balls. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. If you can share your WhatsApp?

not explained properly
u should explain how hard the grip should be after the strike, not before
before we already know how tight it should be

Hi Brando.

I hope that criticism is well accepted by you. I was watching your videos before you "long break". And what I realized with the new videos, that you have too much of introduction and nice video shots, and way less teaching stuff in your video. In comparison, the old videos as the source of information were much much more valuable. For example I really appreciated the one about timing and pressure grip. And from the video itself it was quite clearly visible whats the difference between the two.

With this one, it was almost unclear whats the difference between tight grip and loose one (the demo of the shots did not show that at all. Maybe using the training ball for such demos would help), unless you already play and you have that feeling. Essentially, the definition of "strength" you gave is ok for those who just picked up the cue. But for those who already play nothing new was told. Only the obvious stuff which is already quite obvious.

However, I'd personally would really appreciate, if you give some real hints on how to improve on "strength" during the delivery. How to practice it and keep the same during the shot. I strongly believe, that at the beginning you had pretty similar problem as well. But somehow you managed to overcome it.

I mean this is wrong the correct way is to actually squeeze the cue on the forward motion before striking the cue ball, every player who’s professional squeezes the cue before the strike

not true. its only accuracy that is hard, with a tight grip.
imagine you are hitting a wall with the tip, at some point your Hand will slide with a lose grip. and a firm grip will make a deeper hole in the wall. so you can han have much more power with a firm grip.
