This is part 2 of a wildlife packed two part series. In part 1, I find some Giant Cow Killers, A massive Robber Fly takes out a Dragonfly mid flight, Wolf spiders that keep chasing after my hands and much more. In this episode, I teach some basic and successful weather prediction, I find the amazing and giant Swamp Darner Dragonfly, a beautiful Watersnake and a large Imperial Moth lands right on me. As I go swimming, I am chased out of the water by lighting AFTER I was pursued by Deer flies. Enjoy part two of my camping adventure. #nature #wildlife #wow

I had the privilege of growing up close to a nature center in my youth and where I live now there's nothing like that out here. Every time I watch one of your videos it brings back so many wonderful memories from that time in my life! Thank you, Chris, for inspiring that in me! 🫶

Nice follow up video to part 1 Chris. It always amazes me how you find all of those interesting critters. Keep doing what you're good at and stay safe out there! 👍👍

2 days ago I had found 3 Blue Spotted salamanders. Lots of trees are starting to die and fall apart. They're taking advantage of the wood collapsing it seems.

Nature is very rich and diverse, there are many animals and insects that I don't know yet.

These videos are so neat, Chris! I love the sneak peek into the tiny lives of insects :) My favorite insect is the ladybug, and I usually see multitudes of them down here in Alabama. For some reason I’ve seen only a handful of them during the spring and summer: any idea what could cause that?

The jumper at about 25:25 was very pretty. Trying to figure out the species, looking at my spider book. Could it be a very light yellowish female Phidippus whitmani? The abdomen markings look like it. Spiders are so darn variable. It was fun going on this adventure. Really liked those storm clouds too...loved seeing & hearing the rain. We're in the worst drought ever in WV.
