We had never built anything til we jumped off grid in when u said a 4x8 isn't 4 ft across.... this explains why even when we measured our 16 on center correctly we kept messing up at the end!!!! I thought it was us all this time every time we build something. I cannot wait to tell my husband this. Ty for all this info.... I'm mad we never thought to measure the actual plywood.... makes me feel so stupid lol but I'm so glad to learn it today as we have one more build to go.

Its been 20 years since I did any "real" framing...I didn't know a sheet of plywood wasn't 4'x8' anymore...I guess it was just a matter of time! Great video.
