A7s3 with articulating screen would be the DREAM. But yeah, I don’t see that happening either. I still have an 80D for vlogging on the move, but I wish I could vlog 4K with all my nice Sony glass 😞

Thank you for answering my #1 question about play memories. I'm glad they kept the file transfer and remote trigger feature. I didn't buy the timelapse app and hope they just put a built in intervalometer in future iterations instead.

Hi Jason, thanks a lot for your great videos. I am new to Sony and i Bought the 7Riii and noticed it gets warm by usage (not doing videos at all) even when i am in menu setting. Yes for more than 15 min. Is that normal since i am new to mirrorless cameras and Sony? Appreciate your feedback.

Sony is using the strategy Apple has been using for years. They release new cameras with features that have been available in other brands for years. Rate button, auto switching AF points, correctly placed video button, joystick, just to name a few. All that said, I am still excited AF about this A7RIII though :D

I would be curious to know what the proportion of users who go for the A7R series is, along the lines of-- photographer : videographer : mixed photo-video use (with over 40% video). I am guessing that the photographer category leads the other two out by a wide margin. If that is the case, I can understand Sony's desire to deepen the specialization divide between the A7R and A7S. Also, I can maybe understand why there is no flip-out on the A7R. But, on the A7S? That just seems like a huge oversight to omit a flip-out on their video-focused model. Maybe they'll finally implement that on their APS-C bodies. Come on, a6700!

It is really annoying that there is no Play Memory Apps in the new models. It is the same with my new RX10 IV. I love the Timelapse App, it helped me a lot. Do you think there will be probably an software update and we get it back?

That star-rating system (that also supports Lightroom). Okey I am getting this.
Literally just saves much time after my photoshoots, when we are selecting the favorite images with the model on location (on the back of the LCD). Right now I am using pen and paper, then I import them to LR, then I star it. So much wasted time.

I personally wish the a7r iii would've had 2 UHS-II memory card slots, or XQD and UHS-II. The other wish for the a7r iii would've been the 4K 60p.

Hi Jason.  What do you think is the best way to protect the LCD screen?  Is it even necessary with this camera?  I have an RX100III and the screen has so many scratches because I didn't put anything on it.
