I have never liked the Superman/Wonder Woman pairing. To me, it's just to predictable. What I have liked is a Batman/Wonder Woman pairing. Wonder Woman has been portrayed as an idealist, a shining beacon of hope. So she can appear naive (please correct me if I'm wrong on that, I haven't read the comics and am fine with being wrong). Batman sees the reality and knows that not everyone can be saved. On the other hand, Batman is a dark, vengeful form of justice. And after living in this dark world, the darkness has almost completely consumed him. Wonder Woman could help him live beyond his crusade, to allow some light back into his life. This relationship was teased in the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited TV shows, but I would like it if it became a part of the main continuity. Am I alone on this?

I feel Diana is definitely powerful enough to be as powerful as Superman. The time she fought Superman while he was under kind control, he thought she was Doomsday and he thought Doomsday had killed Lois. As you can imagine he was really pissed off. Even Diana stated that he was holding nothing back and going all out on Diana (whom he thought was Doomsday). Diana was literally holding back the whole time because she knows that he is not the enemy. She survived being attacked by a bloolusted Superman. She even cut his throat. She is strong enough to really hurt and even beat him.

I miss WW old origin being made out of clay. It's unique and there's no reason why she being the daughter os Zeus makes her more powerful.

Has nobody read The Legend of Wonder Woman by Renae De Liz!? That is THE definitive Wonder Woman for me. Great art, great characters, emotion, Diana's true roots in the World War... it needs to be more appreciated.
