24 Hours of Le Mans 2014 - Episode 10: Hybrid systems

The 10th episode is devoted to the hybrid system, the technical device that retrieves energy and then releases it. Thanks to the new regulations the manufacturers can now have 2 on-board systems per vehicle and the three major car producers Porsche, Audi and Toyota have all chosen different solutions.
Fred and his film crew went to Cologne to TMG, the Totoya competitions department, as the Japanese make has pioneered hybrid technology for private cars. In addition, Pierre Van Vliet analyses the Porsche and Audi systems.
