Damn. Byrne's quirky singing style, a dual bass line, and only background activity from Fripp on the guitar. It's a weird song, but equally as fascinating.

I love the part at 3:05, wish it was used more in the song.

Thanks for posting. I bought this album on cassette out of a cut out bin for $.99. I wore the tape out!. On difference between this and the version i had. After the "I am resplient in divergince" section was fripp saying "Continue" before the next track. Epic song.

Hey there foggy shades, thanks for putting up the lyrics, that's so cool. You do realize tho that I'm going to spend the rest of the night with a dictionary looking up all the words that I don't know😉🇬🇧✊

If I remember correctly from the vinyl, Byrne was credited under some silly name. And this song came first on the album side, followed by Zero of the Signified / God Save the King (picking up the pace).

I thought this song was on "Under Heavy Mannerism."

The outro reminds me of Lou Reed. Not sure why.

Could anybody tell me what Urizel is (or who)? I am asking myself this since 40 years. :))

Where is the "continue"? It's not in the beginning of the next track either.

Well, after 43 years of hindsight, this song.... is still fucking awful. It should have been a Thompson Twins B-side.
