Free Getting Started with Azure Course - [DEMO] Create a Resource Group and Virtual Network

Показать описание
Having been through the lesson on the Azure resource hierarchy, you're now ready to create some resources in Azure.
In this demo, I'll guide you through how to create a new Virtual Network (VNet) in your new Azure subscription. We'll use this VNet in the next demo as the private network space for a new Virtual Machine (VM).
To do so, we'll complete the following tasks:
1. Create a new Resource Group (the name & region do not matter)
2. Create a new VNet in the above Resource Group
When we create the VNet we'll do so by creating it in a region that must match the region we plan to deploy our VM in the upcoming demo.
Note: sometimes for new subscriptions you might not be able to deploy a VM to all the available regions. So I'll also show you how to quickly check the available regions for your VM, before we create the VNet.
