Amen. ....but the greatest of these is charity, (love).
She went to all extremes to show her appreciation for the kind, compassionate, loving Master who had done so much for her. He had restored her life-- her sanity, her wellbeing. He had given her peace. He had cast seven devils of torment out of her. How she appreciated that! She MUST show Him her appreciation whatever the risk; whatever the cost. When at last she found the right gift, she saved up for it, no doubt it took her a long time but this was what she wanted to give. She braved the steers and criticisms and put it on His feet. And O, how Jesus appreciated it! And He let her and everyone else around her know that He appreciated it when He defended her from her critics who expressed that she had spent too much for the expensive perfume. Only the best for the Master, she thought.. IS THIS OUR MOTTO TOO? Nothing is too precious to give to His service.
