this worked perfectly even a year later and on 1.20.1 yet for Java. thanks for also including the world in the description with easy access to the entrance. I was able to test this in 1.20.1 before building it to make sure it worked. I had one person share their world like this and they didn't make the entrance easily accessible and never found the entrance so ty for providing the world where I started right at the entrance. you're awesome and loved the video although it was hard to follow in spots.

I've SOLVED the issue of this WORKING for BEDROCK. At time stamp 3:51 when setting up redstone circuit for the outer most piston, add comparator coming out of obsidian, then 2 red stone dust, therefore extending the length of the setup by 1, turn and place your repeater set to 2nd tick, followed by an elevated redstone dust then connect to piston with redstone dust. Repeat on the opposite side. And your welcome lol.

It's possible to switch the obsidian for Glazed terracotta it youwant something less demanding since the non-stickiness, elrather than asthetic appeal or blast resistance is the most important factor
