Per this example one must show available funds of about 80000 in 2024?? I see other guys put in living expenses for 1 year to kind of inflate the funds available. The gc key asks only one year tuition and living expenses but it seems there’s always some uncertainty with the education costs in the new portal

Hi Max! I applied for my study permit on Aug 14, 24 however after my biometric within a day I got refusal message. I am currently working in Qatar. I am wondering it matters my age and study gap. I’m 35 years old single. I was graduated in 2013 and I continued my career and without any gaps. I am a citizen of Sri Lanka. Meanwhile I requested for my GCMS notes. My intake is in Jan 2025 postgraduate course for supply chain work professionals. I’m currently working as a sales executive in well reputed hotels. See, I am 19 years old, and I have already "worked" as a website designer and "developer", and collaborated in the creation of a lab's website of a university of my homecountry, as I have also made a website for an international symposium that has worked with that university. I have already paid the corresponding taxes and got paid since I have a formal contract with them, should I include that in my Work/activities history? What should I put as Company/employer?, should I put myself as the employer since I am working as a freelancer, or should I put the corresponding clients as them? Also, if applicant is more than 6 months staying in CA before applying for student visa, does she/he need Canadian Police Clearance (aside from her/his country)?

If I have studied previously in the USA as an international student for undergrad and a master's already and done OPT there. If I return to my home country and later apply for a study visa in Canada. Does it give the impression that I am trying to get out of my home country? I would still have family ties in my country regardless of where I have gone to study and kept my status lawfully in both cases.

I got the uncondtional offer for Masters in Education with Gradute certificate .
I got overall 6 in IELTS no band less than 6.0.( will i get my visa) ( final one)

For direct Masters the reuquirement was 6.5. (Initial one)

Hi Max, I have a question and is something that I don’t comprehend at all, in the third part of the document "Get the right documents" says that If you’re the family member of someone who has a study permit or work permit application that’s been approved in writing before you come to Canada, you don’t need a letter of acceptance. My Uncle started his studies in 2022 in Canada with a study permit, how does this help me that I have family already there, or what does it refer as "you don't need a letter of acceptance"?
