I haven't heard this since I was a child and it's so well sung, what a wonderful group. I do love songs from my childhood that I heard on the radio many years ago. You shouldn't be surprised by the quality of the singers sweetheart, the audience's at that time knew great music when they heard it. Just had an experience!! I'm talking the heavens almost opened, think I got a glimpse of an angeI.I Channeled some boogie woogie from 1962. Growing up my mom talked about seeing chubby checker live in New Orleans after her and dad married and before having the 5of us. How amazing he was singing playing piano looked towards the audience the entire show never at the keys.. I look up fats domino live 1962 in New Orleans..There it was! Footage of fats domino's concert in 1962 in New Orleans.. I understand now why she talked about that all the time . Not gonna spoil it, gotta watch it.❤

This is one of the most classic doo wop ballads. Another doo wop ballad in the same league with it is "In the Still of the Nite" by The Five Satins. Also, keep checking out The Platters. "My Prayer" would be a good choice for next song from them.

Being a massive 50’s fan myself, I can say you have really chose a gem here. One of my favourites from the era.
Loved 50’s music since I was a teenager in the 90’s. You just don’t get pure talent like like that anymore.

I was born 20 years later and these "Doo Wop" street corner songs and singers are highly underrated and also recommended for understanding love songs. Playful romance is how my parents described it. Wow...all these years and I still remember the lyrics. Cool‼️😎
