How to loom knit a cowl (super easy for beginners) DIY TUTORIAL

Показать описание
This step-by-step tutorial shows you how to knit the simplest cowl ever using a loom. So, if you have never loom knitted before, this project is perfect for you! And if you are already a loom knitter, this video tutorial may help you guide your family and friends on how to start with your beloved hobby.
In this tutorial you will learn:
- How to start your cowl (how to cast on stitches on the loom)
- How to knit your cowl (how to work e-wrap knit stitches)
- How to fold and close your cowl directly on the loom
- How to take your work out of the loom (how to bind off)
Index of Contents:
[00:00] - Introduction
[01:00] - Casting on
[02:33] - Knitting rounds
[04:20] - Folding up
[05:48] - Binding off
[09:30] - Weaving in
LOOM: The loom I use in this project is a 41-peg XL gauge round loom, because I wanted to make an adult-size cowl. If you want to make a baby cowl, then you better use the 31-peg loom. And use the 36-peg loom for children and teenagers.
YARN: The yarn I use here is a bulky weight yarn (size #5). If your thread is thinner than mine (a medium weight yarn), I recommend you to use 2 strands at the same time. For this project, I used 90g (3.17Oz) approx. of a yarn called Phildar Rapido.
