I thank God for using You to teach such an important topic as this.
I was a child when a couple of the song's you mentioned played on my little radio in my room.
Mostly I would listen to the beach boy's and the Beatles.
Had no idea what music was doing in shaping my naive little mind at such an impressionable stage of my life.
Thank You for teaching Me something that I had questioned back in the 1980's, I told friends back then that I believe that the media was influencing Us then.
They laughed at me and said I was crazy.
Somewhere down the road I didn't think about it anymore and just went with the flow and enjoyed the 80's techno music and that was that.
Again, I'm grateful for You allowing GOD to use You to give a much needed message!!

At last :-) An acknowledgement that secular means secular, and does not mean Jazz, Rock, or Pop. There is a marked difference between this type of presentation, by someone who knows what they are talking about, and many others who seem to put across the idea that secular is only applicable to music of the last 60 years! I like the fact that Dr Little presents information, and shares his experience, and does not attempt to dictate to the viewer what to do. With the information, and through prayer, study, and the Holy Spirit in our lives to give discernment, we can make proper decisions and judgments.

How about hymn 142 in the Seventh-day Adventist Hymnal? In the fourth verse it says, "Mary, Joseph, lend your aid." Mary and Joseph are dead and not aiding anyone. There is hymn 3 that says in the second verse, "Let my soul, like Mary, Be Thine earthly sanctuary." Hymn 402 in the refrain says, "When I fall on my knees, With my face to the rising sun."

A bit of Roman Catholic doctrine and pagan sun worship don't you think?

But that's not all. Of the eight bibles used in the back of the hymnal for various readings, four of them are honest-to-goodness Roman Catholic bibles. Don't think that matters? Roman Catholics aren't that stupid. A Roman Catholic who reads the Protestant Bible is said to have comitted a mortal sin. Roman Catholics know there are differences between bibles and we are too stupid to see that. Please, heavenly Father, annoint our eyes with eyesalve that we may see.
