That's disgusting that neighbors would do that! In some areas around here, people have stolen potted things but I've heard nothing about digging up things. I've had bulbs disappear and finally figured out it was the squirrels roaming around here. Somehow they can dig so neatly! With no evidence of disturbed soil they'd bury walnuts, which we found out were supplied by neighbors one street over. I've solved that by using some things they don't ike the scents of.
