Making of Whipped Body Butter

Hey everyone!! So in today’s video I will be making two batches of my whipped body butter. One will be unscented and the other will be scented with a nice eucalyptus fragrance oil. I try not to use any colorants unless the FO I use is fruity and sweet.

Some common abbreviations for terms used in this video.
FO - Fragrance Oil
EO - Essential Oil

My basic whipped body butter recipe:

45% Kokoum Butter
28% Jojoba Oil
24% Shea Butter
1% Vitamin E Oil
1-2% Fragrance or Essential Oil
0.5% Arrowroot Powder

Note: If you are low or out of a certain carrier oil or hard butter, know that carrier oils and hard butters are interchangeable.

Can you use cocoa butter instead of kokoum butter?

Get a cake scraper it helps better instead of using your hand to get all the butter out so it doesn’t go to waste

love this video, it is interesting to see the different methods that people try for this, so this is very helpful. The music was relaxing too. I also noticed you have a few tattoos, they look nice. This video is my favorite for a tutorial on whipped body butter, I gave it a watch because I was wondering about the freezer time for body butter and I noticed what you did was different compared to what I did, I would freeze mine until it was solid and when I would whip it I would notice small chunks of butter, and I am assuming leaving it in the freezer too long caused that. Reheating body butter and going through that whole process again is time consuming, so now I am going to try your method instead. I watched the entire video, good work.

Interesting about adding Arrowroot powder. I've heard someone say just whip it longer to keep it from being greasy. 🤷🏽‍♀️ idk

Great vid! I love seeing the various ways people make their butters. I make whipped butter too but I'm still trying to get it to come out with me and selfie and stay that way with the balance of arrowroot powder and oils. It is such a trial and error method.
Also wondering what do you use to record your vids? And how do you speed up frames?
