Homemade Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters

Hey parents! Have you experienced the magic of Disneyland, and now you're wondering how to make those memories last even longer after everyone is home?

Are you stuck at home with nothing to do and nowhere to go because you're quarantined in your own home?

Fear not, dear viewer! We've got you covered. RideTheTeacups is going to inspire you with ideas how to bring the magic home at little or no cost! Try building these different rides in your own backyard. Your kids will love them!

We created our targets with paper plates and tape; you can use any number of things for yours. Draw a fun, stylized letter "Z" on each one. Make sure most of your targets have circles in the background! Then a few others should have squares, a few less should have diamonds, and finally a few less have triangles. We created 3 special targets for even more fun!

You can assign points to your targets by shape. We had different points for circles (100 points), squares (1,000 points), diamonds (5,000 points), and triangles (10,000 points). We dragged around our kids in a laundry basket around a course, gave them a Nerf gun, and filled the basket with extra darts. Have fun with it!

In our opinion, the best budget-friendly Nerf gun options are a pistol-sized gun that cocks from the back, not from the bottom. Here are some of our favorites:
