The most recent data shows that 3.9 million people in the UK live with type 2 diabetes and another potential 1.2 million people yet to be diagnosed.

That's not gonna work. Most parents (in the UK at least) know that sugar is bad for you and fattening, yet their obese little ones are snacking on pure sugar. They won't know that candy == carbohydrates, so likely this will make them less careful.
