Being 50 years old, I still remember the relevance and beauty of the 84-87 Donruss sets for what they were. They were expensive to rip back then. In 1989, 1984 Donruss wax was up to $10 a pack already at my LCS! The designs have aged so well. They are IMO, the best looking junk wax cards ever produced.

There he is! Glad to see another reveal. Nice grades on the 85 Donruss cards. Such a tough one and looking forward to you hitting a 10 on one of them! 85 Topps, Donruss, Fleer are all a heck of a challenge.

'87 Donruss Maddux is tough to gem. I think they deduct for his mustache.

Another amazing batch of favorites. I'd imagine with pop counts as low as this batch, the right person would pay up for these slabs.
