so this rubber sleeve just ended up being some kind of isolating material so the pump wouldn't move around and I think it's also supposed to reduce pump noise to the cabin. there was nothing really special about it I was just curious because of the state of the sleeve. from what I've seen on YouTube most people's pumps and assemblies for a similar pickup truck, are a bit different. even the pump that they sell at AutoZone that is supposed to be for my car is not the same as the one you see here. although I was able to find it online on herko and other websites. it's the Bosch 69618. my sending unit assembly has contacts that were looking a little burned and there was no power going through them so I had to mess with the pins to restore the contact. but depending on how it goes I may have to buy another sending unit.

Hey did it came with that valve on top of the fuel pump having trouble finding it
