Residents of Dexter's townships said they haven't had their trash or recycling picked up for weeks. This has been the trend all summer since Priority Waste took over service from GFL Environmental in late June.

In Garden City we have to wait an extra few days for them to pick up our trash. And the recycling basically never comes on the same day anymore. But a few weeks? Damn. How long does this transition period take?

I'm confuswed. So why are they still using the GFL trash cans? In Sterling Heights we have Priorty Waste, and we got their trash and recycle cans. with very little problems.

They should’ve never excepted or been accepted to take the contract if they only had 100 trucks and needed 700. Let’s start there.
