all I need is:Slime/Honey block, 1 sticky piston and 1 piston, 2 Observers and 4 slime blocks, and it works perfectly.

For bedrock edition just replace one of the sticky pistons with a normal one. Get rid of the noteblocks, too. You can also do it with slime instead of honey, if you want.

For java and bedrock, you dont need the note blocks. Trust me, itll make it more smaller. You could just activate the observer in the back by using flint and steel on it.

As for Bedrock, just replace the forwards-facing sticky piston with a regular piston (assuming youre making a one way flying machine)

This machine is great! But it doesn't work on bedrock though. To make it work on bedrock you need to swap out one of the sticky pistons for a regular piston. However, it will only move in the direction the regular piston is facing if this is done.

I always use one of these things to find an end city also you don’t need the note blocks you can just place dirt or something on the observer and it will save you a honey block
Also you can build it with slime which is easier

It didn't work...i have to place a redstone block to move a little but it doesn't take me anywhere, also when I play the note block it doesn't move the machine
