Punjab boards have notified a new policy for students passing marks, 1st annual exam and 2nd annual exams, new emprovement policy 2023 and additional subjects exams for private students and regular students.

According to new policy, PBCC held a meeting and the following decisions have been made in new exams policy 2023. improvement exam 2023 class 12 and class 10 have also changed.
1. There will be two annual exams in Punjab called 1st annual exam and 2nd annual exam. 1st annual exam will be taken from March to May and the 2nd annual exams will be taken from September to November. The fee of both exams will be same. The student of matric combined and intermediate combined can now appear in 2nd annual exam as fresh candidate.
2. Now the student failing or being absent from practical exams will only given practical exams.
3. According to improvement policy 2023 for Punjab board, the students can now avail 4 chances of marks improvement in 2 years after passing matric or Intermediate. Anyhow the students can availe these chances before passing the higher educational level.
4. The students of matric and inter who want to improve their marks can repeater or markss improve can take a subject of part 1 or part 2 or only practical exams for marks improvement.
5. Now after passing intermediate, the students can take additional subjects from science subjects as private candidates. It means now science subjects exams can be taken as private student too. Private students can do now FSc. improvement exams 2023 will be taken according to these new rules.
Punjab board has now changed passing marks. The passing priteria has now set for 2023 and 2024 exams. The students will get 50 passing marks from both 9th and 10th combined to pass the exams.
