How to Make a Custom PCB - Part 1 - Making the Schematic

This is the first video in a two part series where I show you how to design your own PCB and get it manufactured by a service called EasyEDA. In this video, I go step by step through the process of creating a schematic for your prototype circuit. The schematic will serve as a blueprint for the PCB layout. In the next video, I show you how to design the PCB and submit it for manufacturing.

I noticed that some viewers have problems with your audio. Compared to the other tutorials on this subject,  I think the sound is very good. It seems that the treble is turned down which eliminates the chalk board "squeak" that is in a lot of videos. In fact, compared to other videos that I have watched on this subject, your voice is rather soothing and I can tell that your native language is probably English. No offence to people of other origins and I thank them for sharing their knowledge but a presentation in my own lingo is very much appreciated. You also explain the software in a straight forward and logical way that is easy to absorb and retain. I am looking forward to watching part #2. Thank you.

Will the EasyEDA program handle chip resistors, chip inductors, and chip capacitors? I would also like to know the electrical characteristics of the glass PCB, so that I could determine the impedance of the pcb traces.

Can anyone say we use 5mm, 3mm LEDs so in schematic which side is positive and which is negative.I am little Beginners plzz

PCBs are good because they prevent isolation error from happening.

I'm trying this out now and there arn't half as many components when you go onto libraries. I don't understand why its so different nor can I find the same components.

I have a rc car circuit board that already have some letters on it like M+ and R7 things like that but i wonder which letter and number refers to battery to connect it

When i go to the User libraries to search for footprints, it does not show the preview as it does in yours on the left side. I have to click on each component to get the preview. Is there a setting to show the previews automatically?

My EDA doesn't seem to work like yours I have to look separately for schematics and footprints and adjusting the PCB size is a pain in the arse. Are you using a paid version?

How do you create a new component such as a mosfet IRFP27N60K TO 247 AC PACKAGE.
cannot find anything like it in Easy EDA? Thank you.
