Top 10: The World’s Most Innovative Countries – Global Innovation Index 2024

Switzerland, Sweden, the United States, Singapore and the United Kingdom are the world’s most innovative economies, according to WIPO’s Global Innovation Index (GII) 2024.

Published on September 26, 2024, the GII ranks the innovation performance of 133 countries and economies around the world. Themed "Unlocking the Promise of Social Entrepreneurship", WIPO’s GII 2024 takes the pulse of global innovation trends against a background of steady but slow global economic growth, shrinking innovation finance, and sluggish productivity growth.
