Step 1) Modify Installation
Step 4) Uncheck compatibility from Steam and game exe file- close steam first
Step 5) Run the game from the game installation folder, try running as an administrator, disable full screen optimizations
Step 6) Verify/Repair the game files
Step 8) When you launch the game, if you receive a prompt to launch in safe mode try it
Step 9) Allow the game exe file to your antivirus program and Windows Security
Step 10) Put -dx11/-d3d11/-dx12 in launch options
Step 11) Change your windows Language to English United States
Step 13) Perform a clean installation of latest graphics driver
Step 14) Run the game on the dedicated graphics card
Step 15) Roll back graphics driver
Step 16) Update Windows to the latest version
Step 19) Increase the Virtual Memory
View Advanced system settings
Initial Size: 1.5 x Total Ram
Maximum Size: 3 X Total Ram
Step 20) Update System BIOS
Step 21) Uninstall the game, go to the game installation folder and delete the game folder, restart your PC, and reinstall the game to C Drive/if already installed to C drive, then install the game to another SSD

don't hate the game, give a chance to this indie company called Activision. these guys have recently appeared on the shooter market, they are still gaining experience. they didn't have 19 published shooters before this game to earn experience and money for the banal work of their product

Insanely clutch, I tried fixing this a month ago and couldn't find any solutions that worked. Unchecking extra bs and running steam as admin seems to have done the trick.

Thanks, unselected the DLCs, closed steam and startet it again as Admin. Then it downloaded something and now it works!

For people who have the starting and instant closing problem on the xbox app ** I FOUND A SOLUTION** that worked for me. So you have to go in wyour windows settings in Time and language, then verify if you have the correct time zone then synchonise, after that you go in region and you verify if you have the correct country you live in. And aftyer all that you lunch the game and it should work !

I just figured it out for my I have tried all of these solutions. How i did it was i changed the drive that my call of duty was installed on. I canged it from my C drive to my F: drive which is a crappy old hard drive. I have 3 SSD's in my computer and i tried to have call of duty downloaded on to each of them and it didnt work. I tried everything in the book to get this to work. NOTE!!! my issue was that call of duty would try to start and 10 seconds later would close. I wouldn't get a error message or any sort of screen, no new scrren or blackscreen or anythings like that. Try using a new hardrive it could even be a large flash drive or very old HDD if you are having this issue. the hdd i tried to install it on was a last resort is a corrupted and old hard drive and guess what, it works!

hey yall just wanna tell that ive been trought this prolem i did everything a search but nothing. AND one day i just install the game on my pc ssd, every other game that i got on a hdd but cod doesnt not work on hdd. that resolve all my problems.

Hate to be that guy but I had the same issue and instead of doing all this stuff I just reset my pc from a backup from before the latest windows 11 update and it magically fixed the issue no need for all this….
