Clinical Anatomy Course Director - Dr. Manion, PhD
Anatomy Lab Diener - Adam Jansen

1. upper extremity - olecranon and coronoid, trochlear notch and radial notch

2. olecranon - posterior surface has a bursa, superior surface is tuberosity of the olecranon, lateral surface for anconeus, medial surface for flexor carpi ulnaris

3. coranoid process – medial surface has sublime tubercle for ulnar collateral ligament and flexor digitorum superficialis, lateral surface has radial notch, inferior is ulnar tuberosity for brachialis muscle, pronator teres originates medial to insertion of brachialis

4. trochlear notch - articulates with trochlea of the humerus

5. radial notch – articulates with head of radius, annular ligament

6. anterior border - coronoid process to styloid process, pronator ridge for pronator quadratus.

7. posterior border - olecranon to styloid process.

8. interosseous border – begins at supinator crest, supinator fossa for supinator muscle

9. anterior surface - flexor digitorum profundus, pronator quadratus, nutrient foramen

10. posterior surface - anconeus muscle, perpendicular line for common aponeurosis for extensor carpi ulnaris, flexor carpi ulnaris, and flexor digitorum profundus. supinator, abductor pollicis longus, extensor pollicis longus, and extensor indicis proprius

11. medial surface - head of the ulna, flexor digitorum profundus

12. head - fibrocartilaginous disc, ulnar notch of the radius to form distal radioulnar joint.

13. styloid process -non articular prominence for ulnar collateral ligament, groove for tendon of extensor carpi ulnaris
