Here is what Steve O'Donnell said after Bubba Wallace was suspended last year: “Our actions are really specific to what took place on the race track... in our minds, a really dangerous act. We thought that was intentional and put other competitors at risk."

Bubba was not suspended for shoving Larson. He was suspended for the wreck. Just something to remember while we wait for NASCAR's decision on Elliott.

After dozens of comments i posted covering Blaney's failures, i am SO happy that I get to say that RYAN BLANEY IS THE WINNER OF THE COCA-COLA 600!!

Kyle Petty said that Ryan Blaney was like Kasey Kahne in terms of unfulfilled potential.

Common denominator: both drivers had their best performances in the Coke 600.

I don’t care if Blaney never gets big wins like the Daytona 500, or never wins a championship. This will always be the best moment of his career for me. Great race, great crowd, great driver!

Hamlin always runs other drivers high, wrecked Larson to win, .now he may think twice before messing with the wrong guy

My guy Truex and now Blaney have both broke their respective winless streaks. And for the second year in a row, besides Kansas, the Coke 600 puts on the best racing the Next Gen cars have ever put on!

So Bubba flips Almirola the bird on the track but gets credit for de-escalating the situation...interesting.

UPDATE: Elliott has been suspended for 1 race. Corey LaJoie will drive the No. 9 at Gateway, while Carson Hocevar will make his NASCAR Cup Series debut in the No. 7 in place of LaJoie at the same race.

If Bubba doesn't stop giving people the middle digit all the time somebody is going to break it off and shove it where the sun doesn't shine

Congrats to Ryan Blaney and Ford and also congrats to Josef Newgarden finally getting his first Indianapolis 500 win. It was a fantastic weekend for Team Penske..

When Ryan Blaney won in 2021 at Atlanta, the ond surface, that sold me that he's someone that could win a lot of races if the team and crew chief hit on something. He's got the consistency for finishing well down. Now it's time to race for wins consistently. I hope this is the beginning of something bigger for him. He's got legit star potential as a personality for a new generation of fans.

The Chase Elliott/Denny Hamlin ordeal is ironic Considering that Hamlin is Bubba's Car Owner and that Elliott & Larson are teammates

I love HMS but Chase broke the no. 1 rule in stock car racing: wreck somebody WITHOUT wrecking yourself

I still refuse to believe seeing my hero and his team completely implode and self-destruct like that. I wish it just was all a

The only reason bubba de escalated the situation is because he knew he would get his a** kicked

If Chase Elliott is suspended, Josh Berry would not be available because he'll be in Portland, so if Hendrick Motorsports looking for a substitute driver, then it would have to be a veteran driver, maybe either Matt Kennseth, Carl Edwards or Greg Biffle.
