10 Best TV Shows That Only Got One Season

These shows have stood the test of time despite ending too soon.

Anyone else remember a show from the early 2000's called Wonderfalls? Only a few episodes actually aired, but I found the season on dvd and loved it.

There was a wonderful show I loved called Forever (TV Series 2014–2015). It had terrible ratings and was cancelled after one season. I was devastated.

Alcatraz. One season and out. Ended on a cliffhanger and was getting into the story line for real. Sad really.

Had they actually showed the series in the correct order, "Firefly" would have lasted longer. You also did not recognize an older and grittier series called "Space: Above and Beyond." The writing was fantastic, the characters well-planned, and each episode just moved the story further, as you really got to know and care for each of them. This was back when a season had 23 episodes. I loved it then, and I love it still.🌹

Awake, Do No Harm and Almost Human was the best concept TV Shows that boldly go where no broadcast has gone before.
But damn them studios all to hell for cancelling them!

I loved Awake! The last episode had such a curve cliffhanger that, sadly, will never be resolved! It created one more question on top of all the others that we had throughout the season!

Studio 60 was AMAZING. I loved every second of it and I was so upset when it was cancelled. That's well done by you including it on your list. :)
