I enjoy your channel a lot- I've gotten lots of great ideas for books. In one of your last videos you talked about "The Book Thief". I've had the book on my TBR since it came out in 2009, but it never seemed to get my attention. So, I just finished it Friday night- it is one of my top 5 ever books. Don't think I would have read it anytime soon without your video- so Thank you for starting your book tube channel!

I was the same way with books. I read as a child because my mom would take us the summer library reading program. Then in my teen years I got swept into movies and tv. It wasn’t until 2020 that I got into reading again, now I hardly watch tv, mostly books take up my time.

I’m a smaller booktuber but I would say it is “real” but go with your instincts with individuals within the community… Not everyone is as genuine as others. People pleasing is a thing here which means you won’t know where you stand with them because they won’t tell you the real stuff. That being said the majority are lovely, kind, inclusive people and all I would say are just doing the best they can in a hard world.

I love reading and have always wanted to make a YouTube channel but I don't even know where to start and I have so many fears....like what if I'm too old....what if people don't like me or I'm not pretty enough....but it's always something I've wanted to do because I have no one in my life I can talk to about books which has made me very withdrawn and now I feel weird trying to talk about books with people who are not interested
