Using an electronics screw terminal block to connect stranded wire to a breadboard

Using stranded wire with a breadboard is tricky. Some electronics book I have say you can't use stranded wire on a breadboard but I always have with some difficulty. These screw terminals make it a lot easier to wire the battery to a solderless breadboard and reduce the chance of short circuit from loose stranded wire strands.

These are so awful. I need to do some wiring with a relay on PCB with 18GA lamp wire. Can you recommend some better terminal option that I can drop in and solder?

Thanks, sometimes we just need to a good demo on the product.

For the + and - rail try diagonally. That works for me.

I just bought a PCB amp with these small blue screw terminals. Should I not use a connector of some sort to connect to them? Like a ferrule or something? I'm kind of new to this and trying to learn. Thank you!
