the gti14 is sick. look whats inside, the build the space it takes in a backpack, the dock wiht a 600w psu that can power a 4090. its for people on the go. considering you are a gamer i respect the fact you never get out of the house. I travel the world so buying an atx is like buying a house or a car for me. its compact for its power and capabilities its cheap. I can put a radeon w7900 on it, its a dream.

I recently bought a Minisforum UM780 XTX (32GB DDR5/1TB/7840hs) for about 600 USD. I don't use it much but as I live in Texas which is like a third world country as far as the power grid is concerned - frequent power outages - I got a mini PC with some oomph that I can run off a relatively small UPS for 4-5 hours when the power goes out. I can even play plenty of AAA games on that little thing, albeit at low settings and with the help of some FSR, and the power draw is one sixth of my main desktop PC.

Times and tastes are changing. A lot of people don't want a big ugly box on their desk, But need multiple displays for work, streaming etc. These mini's also make AWESOME streaming/recording systems themselves so you don't have your main gaming PC bogged down with OBS etc. With the new strix point APU's from AMD coming in now? A lot of people are not really going to need a big gaming rig either. I know two Minecraft streamers who play/stream with a couple of these mini's and a capture card.

You didn't mention you can plug a full size graphics card directly into it

I got a Ser6 Max 7735HS that I use as a media pc on the TV in my office. It was on a pretty steep sale at the time and replaced a Chromecast Google TV dongle. It runs older games fine and has quite a few movies/shows loaded on the SSD :)

I have the 12th gen version of this product - total lab - uber satisfied - can't kill her, and since I play around in Linux in a shared dual-boot config - still as stable as a rock in both Win and Linux. Still fast and responsive as well.

Miniforum has a number of mini PCs with dedicated graphics, mobil chips I believe but still pretty decent. And in this price range

Well, first, thank you for the review. I have been going out of my mind trying to unravel what mini-pc to buy. There is a new one that looks mighty good called "AtomMan G7 Ti " Unlike most mini's it has a dedicated 8G graphics card 24core/32 thread but if you buy the I9 it is about $1500 USD. It looks pretty good except for the hefty price. I would value your opinion. I'm not a mad--gamer type. The most resource-intensive game I've played recently is Tears of the Kingdom which plays fine on my current I7 8850H/32G ddr4/ Nvidia Quadpro p4200 (8Gig graphics) but I'm looking to move up. I'm not fixated on mini but that's where I'm leaning. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks again for the video.

Two of my mini pcs get 16k in cinebench r23. Intel sucks, amd is the only way to go with mini pc's

Who are buying these? That's an excellent question. The market is absolutely flooded with these things and they all come from same two or three OEMs.

*slaps roof of pc: "You can fit so many dislikes in this baby." I get the point of these existing solely for work, cruising the webz, watching the Youtubez and Twitterz. For me it's just a no go, you could build an absolute beast of a gaming computer with used and new parts and still be able to do the same tasks or workloads even better, please correct me if I'm wrong. It's just a waste of money in my book. Thanx a ton for the video dude. See ya next time.
