I like the style of it....if Victory got in to the naked sport bike scene with gas power too, I'd buy one!

This is the most mediocre sounding review ever. It's like you were forced to go do this by the boss but you didn't really want to go. "It's like, OK, or whatever..I guess."

Yup, it's pretty much a negative review.
But he's trying his best to be polite about it.
I got it Adam, thanks. lol

My sentiments exactly. Everything he said was spot on. Its just not there especially for the price even though he never mentioned price. They should rework it with more power if they want to sell it for 20k, thats more than a bmw s1000rr for goodness sakes.

They should probably start designing an electric motorcycle with the attitude of "how is this better than what's already out there?" Zero offers the same range, can do similar charging times with the adapter things, and they can do it cheaper.  For a brand new bike to come out and either match or fall short of an existing product as well as being more expensive doesn't seem like a good business proposition.  That's probably also why the reviewer sounded like he was falling asleep trying to describe riding it.  Victory should have just done a street showcase if nothing else to try selling it as a peppy commuter machine.

Naw they can keep these. I would be down for a hybrid motorcycle with a really small battery and a motor in the flywheel/clutch assembly but that's really about it

Adam you have the vocabulary of a friggin 5 year old. Every review is the same. Someone please reassign this guy to the logistics department.

Holy Chain Adjuster Studs! They stuck out a good 2-3 inches.

The review made me laugh. I'm not sure if it was sponsored by Victory but, if it was I have a feeling they are not too happy about it. "It isn't the fastest, it's kinda cool, 6 speeds is overkill, it's definitely kinda fun, isn't the fastest, it kinda goes, etc."

This is one of the cheaper electrics, the expensive high end ones go 150-200 + mph. Definately the future of motorcycling. I have nothing but praise for my customized Harley Davidson Night Train, absolutely no issues with the bike, but would gladly replace it with a nice fully electric custom cruiser. HD better get in the mix and put out a custom cruiser for cruiser fans and put an end to Arab fuel domination. Ride safe.

My Zero SR is a little bit cheaper and would wax this thing in a drag race. I'm surprised Victory hasn't done more with this bike.

I like the electric bikes, but good luck trying to charge it up when away from home. No road trips on this bike. What about the battery.do you have to fully discharge the battery in order to always to get a full charge?

Looks like High Plains Raceway outside Byers Colorado?

I thought the Zero motorcycles were expensive but they're affordable compared to this thing! I know Victory is trying to go in new directions beyond V-twin cruisers, but I doubt this is going to work out. I would love for them and electric bikes in general to succeed, but $20k is just too much for this. Especially when Zero's are cheaper and when there are new electric options like Energica that offer more for the money. I still think the transmission and clutch are a mistake.

I own a Victory motorcycle and I just don't see any actual bikers buying one of these. Maybe there are a few rich guys out there looking for a unique toy, but that's about it. I can buy a top of the line sportbike that will do 180 MPH for $14, 000. I can buy a bad ass cruiser for about the same. Why in the hell would I buy one of these? If you have money to burn, sure, but for the rest of us that can't pay cash for a $20, 000 bike I guess we'll be stuck with petrol. When that battery is in the landfill it won't look so ecological.

So with this being electric why can't it just be direct drive and not have a transmission at all?

Addiction to gas? I ride a gas motorcycle because I can afford it. For a 20, 000 dollar electric bike, I could buy two Ninja ZX10Rs.

Its not just about gas its about monster torque

And that my friends is how you turn "Meh, whatever" into a 3 minute review.

$20K? Wow....no thanks; that is even more than the Brammo Empulse R without incentives, and there isn't even an EV incentive for this right now. I should have jumped on the Brammo fire sale before Polaris acquired them, or just get a Zero SR.
