Thank you for your cheerful explanation. The plug socket for my fridge is behind the fridge so I can only turn off the switch on the outside of my Bosch fridge at the top right above the door, next to the temperature indicators. I found it very hard to unscrew bulb because some of the rubber holder had perished. Anyway it would be useful to tell us that to unscrew the bulb, it must be turned anticlockwise and to screw back in clockwise. Usually this is automatic for a lot of things but with the bulb at a horizontal angle, one needs to think about it.

Nice idea, put it facing inward so there is no way one can fix it. The piece of metal in mine don't touch the bulb, I need to push it out but there is no freaking way I can because I cannot see what I do
