FBI assisting in investigation of flood of school threats

The Oakland County sheriff issued a stern warning Thursday after dozens of school threats were made in the wake of Tuesday’s shooting at Oxford High School.

Assisting how exactly? Do you know how many of these threats get shoved under the rug, ignored, dismissed and laughed at daily? Every one of these threats (no matter how small or presumed petty) should be charged a crime for instilling FEAR and PANIC within each and every school district! Even if you must get them in, charge them and get them out.., CHARGE these thugs who think this is funny. This is NO LAUGHING matter! They get away with it because it’s dismissed as no big deal…it’s just empty words, until they pull out a 9mm gun! This absolutely sickens me! They knew and DID NOTHING. SENT HIM BACK TO CLASS!

That school district should PAY for each and every funeral for each of those fallen heroes that lost their lives from their NEGLIGENCE!

I swear kids don't need to deal with this, when are people going to get that this is a problem. We already had to deal with a pandemic and failure to recognize that mental health, so now the trauma of school shooting is still happening now.

I haven't been in high school for some time, but I remember that I didn't want to go to school when there was a possible threat. My brother and I went to the same school, and I was ready to walk out because of the potential of a gun on campus.

Even in the 90's I was an unhappy high school kid. High School sucks. Bringing poor kids together with rich kids together with sport-o's together with drama geeks.. and it gets bad. I don't know the answer. But its not easy to be a kid. No one should make shooting threats - I'm not excusing that. But, it is not easy to be a kid. And when you are institutionalized (and that's what school is) you have to show up each day..no matter how they treat you. And what do you do when you get tired of being shat on? Its a good reason to home school.

The FBI needs to take every threat serious. That Nicholas Cruz shooter in Florida parkland Florida they didn't take him serious and look what happened. There's so many shootings that you never know. Kids want to access guns and use them to hurt or kill somebody instead of fighting
