Atleast in flash 8 when you use line tool you dont need object drawing because: 1) lines can be manipulated idividually because macromedia logic and also 2) flash doesnt explode due to the amount of objects like wtf

for me i just make each part its own thing with the line tool, like the forearm the foot the thigh, etc.
