This channels is designed around the idea that we all have a good chance to live to and past 100 by doing these two things:
1) Small, 80/20 (easy, but smart) consistent lifestyle changes and
2) Banding together to support each other and to cause ripple through scientific and political scene.
It's a long journey, but the sooner we start it, the better our chances.

The message about funding is correct in principle, but targeting "aging research" is not the answer, because we cannot predict in which area of biological science the most salient breakthroughs will occur. We would not have modern molecular biology had we not funded how thermophilic bacteria can survive in hot springs. We would not understand gene expression in mammals had we not spent decades studying the subject in bacteria and yeast. The average citizen will go all in for funding "aging research" but this might end up being a fools game. Yes increase funding for aging research, but only as part of a broad increase in NIH funding. In untangling this knot, we don't have a crystal ball telling us which threads to pull.
