Most of those planters say "not for use with water" which is insane because it's a planter!!! Ughhh. Drives me nuts.

It's so sad how many things are so poorly made these days. Waste of money, waste of resources, waste of time and the worst one of all... unnecessary emissions to manufacture and transport rubbish like this. Makes me mad. Thanks for the headsup and well done on calling this out!!! More of us should do this and out the brands that are stealing from consumers and contributing to climate change through "non-products" sold purely for profit. This has to stop! I just don't go to hobby lobby at all. They can't decide if they're a church or a retail store. I also don't go to my church to buy picture frames.

Same thing happens when you grab a cedar planter by the lip, because they just use wood glue and brad nails instead of galvanized wood screws. They make a ton of profit selling things that your local small business artists make better quality for less money.

Oh wow. Thanks for the tip. I just picked up one in Walmart pink & only 5 dollars, then big ones are 10. I'm going back to get a bigger one this next week. Lots pots very pretty pottery & cheap at Walmart

Gosh, now you tell me! Just yesterday I saw that exact one and said hey Harli has that same exact one and she did say to try to use more unique finds of varying sizes and heights so I bought it and several others in terracotta. Luckily I haven’t potted them up just yet. Back to HL I go for a full refund. Thanks girly!

Well...I have several terracotta pots I bought from there, they are proudly made in the USA and I have tons of happy thriving plants in all pots are made equally I guess..🤷‍♀️

I think most of the planters at Hobby lobby are just for show. It’s definitely not a place for a gardener to shop, that’s for sure! I’ve learned my lesson as well. Love Hobby Lobby for household and seasonal decor tho
