The implicit function theorem for C^1 maps between (Euclidean spaces and #manifolds) gives a very geometric picture of the structure of the level sets of the functions. Surprisingly, a version still holds for Lipschitz maps and it is sufficient for many purposes in geometric measure theory. We will use this implicit function theorem to reduce the proof of the coarea formula to Fubini's theorem.
