I looked at a bunch of watches and tried on a bunch including some other brands yesterday. Nothing was really pulling at me. Then I tried one of these on and I ended up getting it.
My reasons were many. One, I loved the feel of the watch. The way the rubber strap bends down from the sides of the watch makes it very comfortable. And the micro adjustments are great. Two, it is a great looking and unusual looking watch. Three, the lume is just so cool. I drove about 3 hours in the dark last night and could still look down and see the time. It was considerably dimmer than right after I had put a flashlight on it to charge the lume, but it lasted several hours. Fourth and final, I have no biases against TAG. I know a lot of people in the watch community don’t feel that way and that is fine. This is my third TAG and to this point they have all been great watches.

Personally own one and I love it - you highlighted the great points of the watch and I actually like the integrated cyclops at 6:00. As you mentioned in closing, it is unlike anything else in my collection and fills a void. It's bold, fun, and badass overall.

Just got it! It’s bad ass and I like it 😎. I tend to wear a lot of sporty black clothes so for me this really goes with my daily wear. When I first picked it up the weight surprised me in a good way. I look forward to enjoying this watch.

What I like about this watch is that it's different to most cut and past options available. The octagonal markers stand out as does the integrated cyclops at 6 (nicely done TAG) The dodecagon shaped bezel is a nice change from circular and works with the outer straight edges of the markers. The lume looks great as well. Even the rubber strap dares to be different although I'm not a fan of cut to length even if it does have plenty of adjustability but that would not be a deal breaker. Although the SMP300M has less micro adjust that bracelet does have the diver extension that nearly none of us use. I'll take a look at one at the AD next time I'm out and about.
