The beatles having SIX hits in 1964 alone is insane! What an amazing band forever ❤

Best music ever. I think I have almost all of these songs in some form. One error for 1967:The Association is shown singing "Never My Love" and it is labeled as "Windy".

The Supremes & the Beatles really ruled the 60s in every kind of way.

it's amazing that Petula Clark is 90 years old today. Those were the best songs of all time! I'm glad that I could hear them before I die. I am 71 years old.

I love the '60s! My favorite decade of music. 1965 is my favorite year. So many classics.

To this day, Elvis just JUMPS off the screen. Never anyone like him before or since.

Fabulous decade of music. It's remarkable to see how music completely changed with the arrival of the Beatles. The careers of almost everyone before them were over.

I listened to CKLW, the motor city, the best station ever, catering to all, every type of music, the best radio station ever existed, loved the motown sound, they played it all . little of everything, music appreciation, I miss it!!

In my opinion 1964 to 1969 had some of the best music, especially with the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Supremes. Late 60s, 1970s, & 1980s, with some 90s, are my favourite eras of music.

Oh these songs bring back soooo many sweet memories of fun times in the 60's....esp the ones from 64-68 when I was a student at UT Austin and went out partying and dancing to them every Thank You...😍🥰

Notice you have to us the Donny Osmond version of Go Away Little Girl. He's the same generation as me so he would have been a baby in the early sixties. 😁❤️
Interesting clip of Nancy Sinatra singing with her brother Frank Junior, because he father wasn't available, for a television performance. Frank Junior's voice was very similar to his father's. 🎶❤️
That wasn't Peter, Paul and Mary, that was Mama Cass and John Denver, who wrote Leaving On A Jet Plane, which eerily sums up what happened to him.

Some of these songs were written by people that I love, but sung by someone that I can't stand. All but four of these songs are great. 😢

I have every single song on this playlist in my music library, the only exception is the song "Wooden Heart", I have the version by Elvis Presley instead of Joe Dowell.

At 17:52 the artist you have is Mamma Cass and John Denver, not Pete Paul, and Mary

If only there is a radio station that just played these classics, other than classical, the dial would remain stationary.
