Restoring Source Park in Hastings

Brothers Rich and Marc Moore rescued a derelict Victorian swimming pool and turned it into a state-of-the-art facility for BMX riders and skaters worldwide.

Source Park, Hastings, has created 30 permanent jobs and will offer an Olympic-standard training facility for a growing sport.

Interesting. Though I understood the building wasn’t Victorian, it was built in the 1930s in an Art Deco style.
An insightful town clerk wanted to give work to unemployed during the depression. They built this along with an underground car park...
Very pleased it got saved anyhow.

i went ice skating there they use to do barrel jumping there to on ice it was a shabbie rink but good memories
