We stand on the touchline, hands in our pockets, like a statue for 90-odd minutes. Not a single chat with the assistant, not a single opinion from anyone else.

Getting to the point where beating the big teams don’t matter when you’re loosing against the bottom teams

Ben is spot on!!!! You have to look at the players we got, cheap wages and not proven… Ange isn’t flexible enough with his tactics either. We won’t win anything anytime soon unfortunately. It’s a 0.500 team.

We have a talented squad but no leaders at all. Spurs are too nice, it's too cushy and they can't deal with pressure . We have an arrogance about us without the trophies to back it up !

We went from Eze and Neto to Odobert and Werner - we still operate the same !

When a fan base is split on a manager that's never a good sign. All I can say is Levy sacked Poch and didn't back Jose or Conte that are world class managers then Levy brings in Ange backs him and there is no consistency and some of our fan base back an under performing manager when they said Conte and Jose were negative. In my opinion Levy should backed Jose. We scored over 100 goals in all competitions gets us to a final and is sacked by Levy 5 days before a final. How serious are we as a football club? Does it really matter what manager we have in charge? Do we ever have enough quality in the squad? Why back a manager that has never managed in the top 5 leagues? Ange isn't good enough but the recruitment team and the chairman should be sacked as well. We are not a serious football club. Cut the wages down rise ticket prices build a hotel and not build a team capable of winning trophies. Not statues or stands named after club legends. Its the ENIC way.

It takes time to change the culture of belief. Ange is doing it, in the time that it takes. Fans blowing this way and that need to change their entitlement attitude. Support with long term expectation, not short term entitlement. Almost every one of the big teams loses games that they’ should have one’.

You make a really great point - we struggle to win games in a row due to a lack of intensity. It seems like it's the intensity that wins the games, not the tactics. In other words - his inverted full backs are not working.

When Ange came in we were promised a change in mentality, a change in style, a winning mentality...

Those first ten games expressed exactly that, the only thing that has changed is that most teams have found a way to resist our attacks and punish us on the counter...

Some teams choose to go toe to toe with us or are just defensively inadequate to deal with our attacks, that is where the wins come from.

Fact is we are as close to the bottom of the table as we are to the top.

We are further away from success than we were last season, so with that in mind, someone needs to tell me how exactly we are making progress.

Being one of the best statistically looks great but that clearly isn't winning us trophies, it's not getting us into the champions league and at this rate will have us out of Europe again!

And let's be honest regardless of Ange in or Out, that muppet Levy will sack him if he thinks we won't make it into the European places.

If you think Gray and Bergvall are going to be game changers anytime soon your smoking crack! These are players that hopefully one day will be good but lets face they ain't Ange signings.

If they were we would be seeing far more of them on the pitch, so how much longer do we allow Mr Levy to make these stupid signings???

We interpret what we see from the perspective of being Spurs fans, and we try to make sense of the present in terms of the past. That can lead down some wrong streets. There is no such thing as Spursy. What happens to Spurs happens to all other teams to some degree. There's no dark force hanging out there that turns a player the wrong way just because he's wearing a Spurs shirt. Like every other London based team, they are young men with lots of money and varying degrees of maturity. Where we stand now is with a squad that has good talent but got very young, very quickly. Young teams have problems with consistency and learning to move as a unit and play effective defense.

Our manager isn't a new type manager. What we are seeing now Leeds saw with Marcelo Bielsa. Brilliant man, had a unique approach to attacking football, his teams usually gave up the first goal of the game then often outscored their opposition. The fans loved him, players liked him, a really good guy. But regardless of how innovative someone is, gravity still exists on their planet. Football managers have to train their teams to adapt during games and must manage as if they value even a single point. The guys like Bielsa and Postecoglou are very, very smart and motivated but they manage as if there is no gravity on their planet and no value in collecting a single point.

It would be a really bad idea to fire Postecoglou. For one thing, he may still have enough in his bag to pull the team up 4th. The league is tight and nobody is taking hold of things yet. You also have the problem that the team is set up to play his style of football. Players have been drilled to play a single way. After you ingrain that approach in players it will be hard to get the same group to head off in some other direction. Best to ride it out and see what happens the rest of the season. It is entirely possible that something clicks with these players and they run a bunch of wins. At the end of the season you evaluate. Now, you support the manager and the players and hope for the best.

One of the highest earners is the worst player we have Timo Werner, thank you Ange!

After the City cup game, there was an interview with Kulu you had on here after and he said about a game against city “these are the games you want to play and get up for”. I am paraphrasing, but as soon as I heard that, to me it revealed the problem. I think it is that players playing for this club only want to use Spurs to put themselves in the window to get themselves to the next level. So when they want to play well and show their talent against a City or United, they turn up. Whereas they struggle to get themselves up for an Ipswich or Palace. I’m not saying it is every player, but it only takes two or three with that mentality for the rot to set in.

You can’t talk about wages, look at Brighton they don’t pay ridiculous amounts of wages for players, but they seem o attract players who have he right mentality!

He can’t deal with a low block. It’s not consistency, it’s he just can’t deal against defensive opposition with quality. It’s was good vs Kilmarnock and tokoyo fc

Boys. I love the energy. Sometimes, tactics or not, players need to also be accountable for the energy, will to win and sticking passes across the whole field, let alone taking the chances, especially with a usual good XG.

Rather than looking at how much money has been spent to win titles by the likes of City and Liverpool, Spurs should be working on how Leicester won the title as a TEAM against the odds. That’s the issue at THFC, all about the mentality and playing for each other and the FANS…

Ben. . Simon...you are part of that culture when you come before Galatasaray game and say you dont mind losing that game because it is not important... When fans cone behind the team to win every game we play and go for 20 wins in a row then we know we going in the right direction.

Ben Davies has been at our club for 10 years and every spurs fan says he is average but somehow is still here we need better defenders

Every game we should go with the expectations of losing than winning. “If you expect disappointment, then you can never really get disappointed.” 😮‍💨

Has Ange got a Plan B and C, as with current tactics it seems to be the same setup. The likes of Porro and Udogie go missing as defenders, when required. You cannot rely on the Centre Backs and their pace to bail the wing backs out!
